Cleaning vinyl siding on house that is over 12 feet above the ground?

The north side of my house is covered in mold on the vinyl. We live on a VERY steep mountain and a ladder would be very dangerous on our land. What would be the best way to clean it? I’ve read of power washers, but that you can’t spray them upwards otherwise you risk getting water behind the siding.

      The ladder wins out.

Use a power washer anyway. Just do it on a pretty warm day, so any absorbed water will evaporate. Don’t spend a ton of time on any one particular area.

The brush in it first then scrub.
The hose should work treat if stains are bit tough try using some tfr traffic film remover or another heavy duty detergent.

We have a 3 story building with all vinyl siding, and window casings. And we use a good hot and soapy water solution with a high pressure washer and it works great. Any bad stains like pitch/sap, we use a ladder and brush. But other then that it’s all from the ground.

Yeah,. those sprayer siding cleaners do work very well. I got a couple bottles from Home Depot a couple years back and I was actually surprised how well it worked. Stuff just rinsed off like it was supposed to. You will probably need a ladder, sorry to say. Just lean it on your house and climb up and spray sideways. I know, easier said than done coming from someone who’s never seen your landscape.
