wavy vinyl siding on western side of home?

I have 1.5 year old siding on house, western part gets full sun exposure, & is a little wavy- there are no gaps, & the siding is secure. I have that foam board underneath that was installed on house when it was built- 10yrs ago. Other sides look fine, but shaded by other houses, trees, etc. Is this common for vinyl to wave?
