Overriding log in?

Debbie G asked:

Amongst my angst to destroy unnecessary bulk on my computer, I decided to fool around with certain folders and buttons in control panel. As a result, I am locked out of the administrative account (my side) and must log in like one may do at school (Username, password; not on the welcoming screen, though. This box just appears when you turn the computer on). I can’t do ANYTHING with the side I’m on, I’m stuck. If I press ‘windows’ and ‘L’, a box appears and it says: This computer is in use or has been blocked. Only JEANNIE/ANNA, or an administrator can unlock this computer. It is followed by two type in boxes that say USERNAME: and PASSWORD:.

Is there any way I can override this so I can log into my administrator account and change this?

I’d truly love for someone to be specific as to how to solve this dopy dilemma of mine as I am illiterate when it comes to these matters.

Thank you.

Cheryl
