Green stuff on vinyl siding?

I’ve got ‘Green stuff’ growing on the north side of my house. I assume it is moss, it is up very high on the north side where it gets very little direct sunlight. Does anyone know of a chemical I can add to the water supply in a power sprayer that will kill this stuff but won’t damage the Vinyl siding?

Plain old chlorine bleach. Put it in a garden sprayer and shoot the mold before you power wash the siding.

I would try using tilex… the mold and mildew bathroon cleaner, test it on a spot not noticable make sure to water it down a bit as it will be watered down in the power washer

I think the spay on clorox cleaner will do the job. Check it out at a supply store, read the label and test a small area first.

Household bleach will do the job - do a test bit first to ensure it is not too strong, then brush or spray on, leave it for a little while and power hose off - or brush if you do not have a power hose

White vinegar and a power sprayer will not only get rid of the moss, but will prevent regrowth.

This is alergy, I have it also. Every year I have to pressure wash my house with pressure wash chemical. It is a common problem in the South. You buy the chemical at Lowe’s, Home Depot, etc.

There is a products at your local stores, i.e. WalMart, Target, etc., I get mine in the department around where the lawn and garden stuff are, it is non chlorinated. I think the name of it is something like QRS 2000, or something like that. Regardless, just ask the sales person. All you do is spray it on, and let it sit for a few minutes and rinse it off. Works wonders!
The front of my townhouse gets no sun ever, so every summer I clean it with this stuff.
Good Luck.
