how do I get rid of cedar siding bleeding stains?

I have cedar siding on my home. just today I noticed some spots are brown. I believe it’s the cedar leaking through. My siding is painted. question is how do I stop it permanently? I have been spraying it with a hose and it all comes off, but then a new coat replaces it. will it stop eventually?

Got bad news. In order to stop this you MUST use an oil primer, NOT KILZ. The oil will stop the bleed through, then you can repaint without worry.
Done it literally hundreds of times.
