How much does it cost to have vinyl siding pressure washed?

Honeymooner123 asked:

We bought an older white house that has vinyl siding two years ago, and it’s gotten dirty from construction and misc. I would rent a pressure washer myself and do it, but I’ve heard if you don’t know what you’re doing (I don’t) it can be bad, so I’d like to hire a proffesional, but I have no idea how much it would cost. The house is medium sized, two story, sort of irregular shape. Any advice would help! Thanks

Depend on the size of house and the total sq.ft., its it two story or have lots of scrubs around it.
$0.20 - $0.45 sq ft, in the southeast area.

there is probably not a need to pressure wash vinyl siding,
go to the big box and get some siding wash ,,mix it up,use a garden sprayer to put it on, let it soak what the directions say and hose it off,
depending on the amount of grime, you may need to do this 2 times,
      still save some money
too much has been said on pressure washing, it is not the final answer, too much damage can be done, and it is not always needed

do it yourself just release the pressure when you’re near the seams.or use a detergent and your water hose.

I would just rent one. You can do damage if you just go out there and do it without researching it first. Just get on the net there are a lot of do it yourself web sites out there that will help you. DIY.com comes to mind but I am sure there are several more.
