Maybe they just liked the way it looked, or maybe the were going to do it all along and just were slower at it than you were.
With all the things in the world to worry about, this is seriously not worth the mental effort.

No it sure wouldn’t at all. I would think of it a different away, more like they liked my ideal so much that they are doing it too. I would take it as a compliment.

Sure, a little. It’s nice to have a house that looks different from the rest of the homes in the neighborhood. But just remember, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Your friends are not doing this to spite you, they think your idea is worth enough to do their own home just like it.

Feel flattered that they thought you had a good idea, and then liked it so much that they copied it. Don’t worry! We know who had the original idea! Congratulations!

Its nice to have your own look, I would be a little upset.
That shows they are not so creative themselves.
