What is a good trim color to go with tan siding?

My husband and I are building a house this spring and are doing tan siding. I am wondering what color trim would look good on the outside to coordinate with the siding color. I have seen white with tan, and I don’t like that, and I don’t like the trim to be the same color as the siding. I am planning on painting the front door a cranberry red color and putting crabapple trees in the yard.

I think your trim should match the door. And I think cranberry red is a beautiful trim color for tan siding.

Siding as they still are using close to do it over again id go with spiked button holders.
Siding as they still are on the south side of house have cranberry which they were installed with white.

I’ve seen tan with white trim & black shutters. Looks really nice.
