Gena asked:

I am getting ready to build a new house next summer and I am looking for a log looking vinyl siding that is maintence free. I dont want something that I am going to have to waterproof on a regular basis. If you know of any places where I can find what I am looking for, I’d appreciate your help.

there are many sites if you just type into a search engine what you are looking for you can find it easily .. I know they have that here in colorado but im sure they have it everywhere. we have found just about anything we are looking for cheaper on the internet with shipping and everything than in local places.. good luck hope this helps

most of your vinyl siding distributors will need to order the amount
of square footage that you need. First you need to set up an account that you are a builder, then you will recieve wholesale pricing on the vinyl logs. They come with foam insulation in them.
Always order 10 to 15 % more than you need for waist. Example
a 3000 square foot home you will need 33 squares I would order
34 squares. On vinyl logs the mil. [ thickness ] should be no less
      48 mils. don’t forget cornes,J-channel,starter strip,silicone
